धृ धारयति इति धर्मः
UNESCO listed 46 civilizations over the known course of humanity. 45 have perished. Hinduism is the only one that has survived and is continuously been practiced over these millennia.
One would expect the top educational institutions would cherish this sole surviving civilization as a precious jewel of our existence… Would protect it and help it survive at any cost as a shared history of humanity…
It’s obvious 40+ Universities are blinded by so many other interests that they have forgotten their core values. Undoubtedly, their intent is very clear from the image they have selected and words they have chosen fro Hindutva conference.
The defense for now would fall on the retirees and lawyers who can’t be easily cancelled from the society and can pursue the fight legally.
Many of us can speak regularly at various avenues positively about what Hinduism is rather than playing victim (like islamophobia).
Hinduism has its strength in pluralism and freedom of individuals and in doing the right thing and in festivities and loving exchanges and accepting all religions as a valid pathway leading to God – it’s an umbrella religion of a sort. People are intelligent and can easily see through the crap.. pressure may prevent them from doing the right things but eventually the momentum builds up in the favor of those doing the right thing.
We should fight this battle on our strengths and opportunities rather than weakness and threats.
